Our Approach
Our task sounded simple enough. Throw a party, evoke street pride and sell limited-edition Tiger District bottles. But anyone could do that. We had to dig deeper.
We started off with Bugis. From shop owners to street musicians, we knew that it was the people who contributed to its unique flavour. But we recognised that many of these guys weren’t even around anymore. Our task was clear. Bring Bugis back home.
We found a 90-year-old hawker who fed Bugis for more than a decade but since moved out and brought her back. We found a 28-year-old musician who started by drawing inspiration from these very streets, and brought her back.
The result? A night where the people of Bugis came together to celebrate their love for the streets they call home.
